Roy Orbison Birthday Tribute….

Hello all you beautiful blog readers! Sorry i’ve been neglecting the blog a bit recently but so much has been happening i just haven’t had time… Promise i won’t leave it so long next time :-)

So, last week i was asked to do a cover of a Roy Orbison song for possible inclusion on a forthcoming tribute album, i did my version of ‘You Got It’ not really thinking it would ever go any further than the studio walls… But! Roys wonderful wife Barbara and his son Roy Jr heard the song and loved it! So they asked me to play the tribute event this thursday night in London and also to be included on the tribute CD to be released on I-tunes! It is such an honour for me as i grew up listening to Big O’s songs and my mom was a huge fan of his too.
